The Dalai Lama said, "Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them humanity cannot survive." At Walker Methodist, we see love and compassion across all of our communities daily. Hourly. Our Mission is Life. And all the living that goes with it. Enhancing the lives of older adults through a culture of care, respect and service. In that vein, the people who make our Mission possible and real are the people who our organization recognizes and celebrates every day.
Each year, our team members recommend, vote, and decide on our Employees and Volunteers of the Year - the truly awesome individuals that consistently go above and beyond. With that, we're proud to announce our 2016 Employee and Volunteers of the Year.
What does it take to be the recipient of the Walker Methodist Employee and Volunteer of the Year? It's simple, really. It takes a sincere appreciation for our Residents, Patients, and eachother - and a willingness to continually work hard each and every day. Here are some of the sentiments nominating parties shared on behalf of the winners.
