Spotlight on Services: Enhanced Assisted Living

Enhanced assisted living within a senior living community offers a continuation of the care available within the community. This level of care has licensed nursing staff available 24 hours a day in a residential setting. Not all senior living communities offer this extraordinary level of care. Referred to as “care suites” within the Walker Methodist family, several communities do offer this option and can be found at Highview Hills in Lakeville, Care Suites of Edina, Levande in Cambridge, Plaza in Anoka, and Westwood Ridge in West St. Paul.

Enhanced Assisted Living, by Definition

Licensed nursing staff collaborate with Residents, their loved ones, and physicians to establish specialized care plans that support medical needs – the community provides the social environment, interaction, and relationships to provide the fullness and joy to enhance lives. Our primary focus is to offer complete peace of mind to Residents and their families that excellent care, safety, and an environment designed for utmost respect is where they will be living. Residents are supported by 24/7 services administered by trained and compassionate staff.

Beautiful intimate settings, medication management, assistance with regular daily activities including eating, bathing, and dressing, and access to various rehabilitative programs are some of Walker Methodist’s care suite amenities. Our goal is always excellence in care delivery and enhancing the lives of our Residents.

For those needing a higher level of care and wanting a residential, beautiful environment in an assisted living setting, a care suite is what you are looking for. Here’s a glimpse of the care and support you will receive:

• Licensed nursing staff on site 24 hours a day
• 5:1 resident to staff ratio
• Bathing and personal hygiene

• Personal laundry and linen service
• Daily and Weekly Housekeeping
• Front desk concierge
