We’re very pleased to announce the new Walker Methodist website! After several months of hard work and dedication, you’ll notice that things may look a little different. I assure you the same great information (and more) is available at your fingertips. We recently provided an opportunity for our employees to see all of the new bells and whistles of our website, first-hand.

Engaging our Employees

Everything is more fun with a party, right? With the launch of our newly designed website, we hosted an engaging event for our employees to explore the new layout, ask questions, and experience the new style/format. We gathered around computers from 10am-1pm in the Chapel at the Health Center. Walker Methodist employee, Erik, graciously provided us with his fine hospitality by making hot, ready-to-order espressos and served us tasty pastries, fruit, fine cheeses, and crackers. It was a great opportunity for everyone to see first hand the hard work that has gone into the new and improved site.

Employees were given a scavenger hunt to complete to help navigate through the new site. Some of the questions included:

…and more! For all of the employees that completed the scavenger hunt, their names will be placed in a drawing for Caribou Coffee and Target gift cards. We had a great turnout and appreciate everyone that participated! It was fun to get to know our way around the new website.

Laughter and liveliness filled the room at this event. Our employees truly are the heartbeat of our success and our amazing people are one of the reasons that Walker Methodist is a leader in the senior living industry. We look forward to opportunities where employees can come together from our communities to catch-up, connect, and build caring relationships.

I am an accomplished professional with experience in the senior, hospitality, sales, and marketing industries. My success has included individual and multi-property operations, sales, and marketing and includes brand management. My career has included increasing levels of responsibility currently as the Regional Director of Sales and Marketing for Walker Methodist. In this role my responsibilities include the growth and implementation of Walker's sales and marketing strategies. Support and facilitate development and implementation of Walker's marketing plan, working with Senior Leadership and community Directors. Develop sales and marketing strategies based on the market place and the community and property needs. Plan and administer Marketing's operating budget.
