We broke ground in 2015 with construction plans and determination. Walker Methodist Plaza Gardens expands our Anoka Campus by 73 apartments - our first community to have a skyway, and the City of Anoka's, too! The beautiful skyway connects our original community - Plaza Cityview - with Plaza Gardens. We designed multiple assisted living, memory care, and care suites that are accompanied by expanded community spaces, dining rooms, and activity areas. In addition, a bistro, fireplace lounges & library, therapy and restaurant style dining will be available to all Residents.
We are excited to say that our expansion is progressing full speed ahead, and our first Resident will move in on August 22! Check out the video below and see the progress we have made on Plaza Gardens - we hope you enjoy it.
This senior living community expansion is located in Anoka, MN, a safe and social environment, where your loved one will be treated to scenic views and small-town sites. Anoka, a city of 17,000 people is located near the beautiful Rum River and is home to the many people found strolling down the historic streets of downtown shopping and snacking at local restaurants. We love going up to Two Scoops for ice cream!
